Your Road – Our Journey
The Counselling Process
Turning for help can feel like a frightening leap into the unknown. I understand this fear and can offer a safe, confidential space for self-examination and reflection.
During our sessions together we can explore the difficulties in your life, how they affect your well-being and how to move forward in a more genuinely productive and creative way.
‘The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.’
Morgan Scott Peck

First Steps
Your initial session is a chance to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope for. It’s normal to feel nervous. We’ll see whether the therapy feels like a good fit. You’re not under any obligation to continue, it’s simply an opportunity to meet and see if working together makes sense. In this confidential space, we’ll discuss your concerns, session logistics, costs, and questions.
